We are thrilled with the piece in Development Finance today. It gives us the opportunity to outline our ambitions for the next 12 months and beyond, speaking directly to the senior lenders, brokers and clients we work with and also those who are new to our company. We have purposefully given ourselves tough targets to meet but ones that are achievable, especially after such a strong start in 2022. • We have plans to lend £100m to SME residential developers in the next 18 months
• This will help us achieve our wider goal to grow the business by 50% year-on-year
• We have nine members of staff – and watch this space for further announcements
• We have three new senior members of the team: Gemma Iannaccone, Head of Credit; Callum Ferguson, Head of Business Development; and Ashely Feerick, Head of Loan Management
• We have a goal of growth while remaining flexible
• We have autonomy when it comes to decision-making on loans; if we think the deal is right and our due diligence confirms this, then this is the only approval needed
• Creating strong partnerships with our clients is central to our strategy
• We want to support SME developers for the long-term, as this is our core business, and a partnership approach to make this happen is fundamental to it
