Ed Marley-Shaw
Chief Executive Officer

Ed Marley-Shaw founded Clearwell Capital in 2012 to address the lack of credit availability for property developers following the financial crisis. Since then, Clearwell Capital has financed £382 million of new homes through alternative property development finance and supported over 100 residential development projects. Ed's experience in finance spans over 20 years. He spent seven years at Lehman Brothers, where, as an Executive Director, he built and acquired loan origination businesses. He was also Head of Origination for mortgage trading at Deutsche Bank. Ed holds a Master’s in Finance from London Business School, and when not dealing with numbers, he can be found cycling across the Chilterns.
